Dexter—A funeral for Lorraine Kay Fitchett, 36, of Niceville, Fla. and formerly of Dexter was held Jan. 9, 1991 at the United Methodist Church here. Mrs. Fitchett died at Niceville on Jan. 3, of causes to be determined in an autopsy. Burial was at the Dexter Cemetery.

The daughter of Merlin and Genora Stodden, she was born at Perry on Oct. 30, 1954. She graduated from Dexfield High School in 1972, and later worked as a registered nurse at Des Moines General Hospital, Blank Children’s Hospital and Humana Hospital in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. She moved from Stuart to Niceville in 1983.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Survivors include two daughters, Katie and Brenda, and a son, Adam, all of Niceille; her parents, Merlin and Genora Stodden of Dexter; two brothers, Melvin Stodden and Larry Stodden, both of Dexter; and three sisters, Debbie Shoesmith of Dexter, Denise Mitchell of Boone and Joan Stodden of Salt Lake City, Utah.
