Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 2 for Calla E. Couch, 86, of Ramsey Home, Des Moines, who died of a stroke Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held at the Westover Funeral Home with burial in the Dexter Cemetery.

Mrs. Couch was born in Dexter and lived in Des Moines for eight years. She formerly lived in Boone and Stuart, was a retired licensed nurse and a member of the Dexter Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Leland of Urbandale; a sister, Gertrude Brinton, Dexter, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
