Kenneth R. Cushman, 59, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died of lung cancer Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at home.

The body was cremated and memorial services were held Thursday, Jan. 30, in Scottsdale. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Dexter Cemetery.

Kenneth Cushman was born in Hastings, Neb., and had lived in Dexter most of his life before moving to Scottsdale 10 years ago. He had worked for IMT Insurance Co. in Des Moines before retiring. He most recently was a computer specialist with Interlink Health Services and PCS in Scottsdale. He was a licensed pilot and enjoyed taking aerial photos.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons, Brett of Dexter and Bryan of Des Moines; a stepson, Ricky Gates of Scottsdale; a stepdaughter, Shannon Aceto of Des Moines; a brother, Chuck of Ankeny; and three step-grandchildren.

Hills Mortuary Inc. in Fountain Hills, Ariz., handled arrangements.
