Gary Paul Bond, 43, of Dexter, died of renal failure, Monday, May 6, 2002, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Services were held May 9 at Kuhn Funeral Home in Earlham, with burial at Dexter Cemetery in Dexter.

Gary Bond was born April 1, 1959, to Carroll “Ole” Bond and Virginia Bond in Dexter. He attended school at Dexfield and Earlham before an accident forced him to complete his education at Tech High School in Des Moines, where he graduated. He retired from Bell Telephone of Des Moines.

He is survived by his father, Carroll “Ole” Bond of Guthrie Center; his mother and stepfather, Virginia and Marvin Morford of West Des Moines; a sister, Christine Scar of Earlham; and two brothers, Patrick Bond of Florida and Mark Wells of Colorado.
