Former Neighbor Passes Away

Mr. and Mrs. Claud Stump received word of the death of a former friend and neighbor, Mrs. Emma Augusta Brandell of Dexter who passed away July 2. She was a neighbor of the Stumps when they lived in the vicinity of Bear Creek. Mrs. Brandell was a little past 85 years of age. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, July 4 at 2 o’clock at the Dexter Methodist church. Interment was in the Dexter cemetery. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Hallett Harvey of Dexter; Mrs. Clara Massure of Linden and Lydia at home. One son, Carl passed away in June 1934.
