Dexter—A funeral for Harvey Beaman, 63, was held at the Dexter Presbyterian Church here July 1, 1985. Mr. Beaman died of a heart condition June 28 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Des Moines.

Burial was at the Dexter Cemetery.

Mr. Beaman, who was born July 16, 1921, was a retired farmer who spent most of his life in the Dexter area. He served as an elder for the Dexter Presbyterian Church. He served in the United States Army in the South Pacific during WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Marian; two sons, Bill of Lenox and Ben of Earlham; two daughters, Dawn Durham and Jacque McLaughlin, both of Des Moines; his mother, Ida Mae Beaman of Alva, Fla.; three sisters; and one brother.
