Mabel E., daughter of Martin and Emma (Simersen) Jensen, was born on January 4, 1915 in Audubon County, Iowa. She passed away at the Community Care Center in Stuart, Iowa on September 12, 1992. Mabel was a baptized and confirmed member of the Lutheran Church.

On September 16, 1933, she was married to Garold F. Bochart. They were the parents of four children. Their years together were spent farming until 1963 when they moved to Dexter.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters, Alma Lundy and Edna Maynes, and two brothers, Raymond Jensen and Harvey Jensen.

Mabel is survived by her husband Garold of Stuart; two sons, Robert and his wife Donna of Rockville, Nebraska and Garold Jr. and his wife Jan of Eldridge, Iowa; two daughters, Janice Thompson and her husband Lloyd of Bridgewater, Iowa and Myrna Hawley and her husband Dwight of Stuart, Iowa; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Others who survive are her brother, Ralph Jensen and his wife Hazel of Greenfield, Iowa; her sister-in-law, Florence Jensen of Eugene, Oregon, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
