John David Fryer, 49, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 11, 2017 of a heart attack. A celebration of life will be held Friday, January 20, 2017 from 5pm-8pm at the Legion Hall in Van Meter, IA.

John was born July 4, 1967 in Winterset, IA. He was a passionate individual who loved film making and gaming. He was a very generous and loving Son, Brother, & Uncle who would do anything for his family & friends.

John is survived by his mother, Rita Fryer; sisters, Diana (Ernie) Hockenberry and Bobbie Vaught; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Fryer Jr. and brother, William Earl Fryer Sr.
John will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
