Perry Flenor Hale was born in Henry county near Mount Pleasant, August 12, 1872 and passed away in Dexter May 13, 1954, at the age of 81 years, nine months and one day.

He had lived north of Greenfield for 27 years before coming to Dexter, where he had lived for the past 19 years.

On April 25, 19—he was married to Rissie Percilla Johnston, of Mt. Etna. To this union two children were born, Mrs. Velma Watson, of Dexter, and Mary Elizabeth Hale, who preceded him in death. His wife also preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn his death his daughter, Mrs. Velma Watson, and his grandson, John William Watson, both of Dexter and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 16, at 1:30 p.m. at the Dexter Methodist church with the Rev. Clyde King officiating. Music was organ selections by Mrs. K. M. Chapler. Interment was in the Greenfield cemetery.

Casket bearers were : James Adkins, Pete Algreen, Paul Lenocker, Art Clausen, Guy McGinnis, James Graham.

Flower ladies were Thelma Lenocker and Helen Evans.
