Victoria Iles was born January 21, 1868 at De Soto, Iowa in Dallas county, the daughter of Richard and Julia Iles. She departed this life on July 16, 1957 at Dexter. She lived her entire life on the home farm near De Soto. She was preceded in death by her brother, Laurence, in 1953. Since that date she has made her home at the Garwood Nursing Home. She leaves to mourn her loss a number of nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Services were held July 18th, at 2:30 in the Evans Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Textor was in charge. The committal services was in the Ellis cemetery near De Soto.
