Mrs. Walter Stump of De Soto died early Saturday morning. The funeral was held at De Soto Tuesday afternoon.

Jennie Crawford was born October 8, 1882 near Waukee, in Dallas County, Iowa and departed this life May 25, 1935 at her home in DeSoto, at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 17 days, having spent her entire life in Dallas County.

She was a daughter of Robert and Kathryn Crawford.

She was a member of the Christian church having been converted at an early age.

She was united in marriage to Walter N. Stump, March 30, 1894. To this union were born eleven children; one son and one daughter preceding her in death.

Those surviving her are: her husband, Walter N. Stump; two daughters, Mrs. Maggie Strober of Adel and Mrs. Opal Sutherland of Pine Knot, Calif.; seven sons, Nelson of Adel, Jakie of DeSoto; Martin of Winterset; Roy of DeSoto; Floyd of Winterset and Harold of DeSoto; eleven grandchildren; also three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Parker of Woodward, Oklahoma; Mrs. Maggie Bales of Dallas Center, and Mrs. Nettie Halterman of Bayard; four brothers, Scott Crawford of Des Moines; John of Griswold, George and Carey of Spokane, Washington; many relatives and a host of friends. She leaves the memory of constant devotion to her home and family.
