Sarah Lorraine McQueen, 65, passed away September 29, 2013 at Mercy West Lakes Hospital in West Des Moines, Iowa. She was born in Bellevue, Nebraska on August 8, 1948, the daughter of Carl and Corrine (Holloway) White.

Sarah enjoyed attending church at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waukee.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Terry McQueen; grandchildren, Logan Ingersoll and Renzi Ingersoll; sisters, Nellie Martinson and MerleAnn Davis; as well as other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Welch and two brothers, Art and Larry White.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.
