Harry Delano Repass, the son of David P. and Elizabeth Repass, was born at Exira, Iowa, September 7, 1886, and passed away at his home in Stockton, California, August 25, 1945 at the age of 58 years, 11 months and 13 days.

His early youth was spent near Dexter. He graduated from the Dexter high school. He had taken a two year course in engineering at State University at Iowa City, he also had one year of college work in the State Teachers College at Cedar Falls, Iowa. Mr. Repass was a teacher in Iowa schools for a number of years, having taught Manual Arts in the Fairfield schools for 21 years and previously taught in the schools at Ft. Madison, Iowa.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a Past Master of the Clinton Chapter.

On August 21, 1912, he was united in marriage to Fern M. Moore of Dexter. To this union one daughter, Mrs. Dwight McClelland was born.

Besides the wife, and daughter, he leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Repass of Villisca, Iowa; two grandsons David and Michael McClelland.

He was a kind and loving husband and father. He was to all a friend when friendship was needed. He was loved by his students and left for them a rich heritage.
