John Cutshall, a well known resident of this community, died at the Mason City hospital Monday noon, June 19. For some time he had suffered from liver ailment. Mr. Cutshall had resided in this community for years until last March he moved to a farm near Clear Lake, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at the De Soto Methodist church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Burial was at the De Soto cemetery.
