The funeral of Mrs. Maurine (Gowdey) Koser was held at Bear Creek last Friday. The services were in charge of Rev. Ben Harris assisted by the Methodist pastor at Redfield. Mrs. Koser was a former Bear Creek girl and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cook. She leaves to mourn her loss, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gowdey, two brothers and one sister of Redfield. Her husband Ted William Koser whom she married at Denver, Colorado, over a year ago and her small baby son, besides many other relatives survive. Interment was in Bear Creek Cemetery.
