Betty A. Springer July 9, 1923-February 27, 2013 Resided in West Des Moines, IA

Betty A. Springer, 89, of West Des Moines, IA passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, IA. Visitation will be held from 4-6:30 p.m. with a 4 p.m. Vigil Service on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 4, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in West Des Moines. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.

She will be missed by her children, Mark of Des Moines, Kim (Art) Spencer of Waukee, George (Vicki) of Waukee, Tim (Dawn) of Dexter, and Tammy (Phil) Weider of Waukee. She is also survived by a sister, Becky Lambi of West Des Moines; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, George, two brothers, Bill and Bud, and her parents, Frank and Emma Lambi.
