FATHER OF MRS. ARMSTRONG DIES

Arthur Black Passed Away May 21 at Home in Dexter Aged 74

Arthur Black, father of Mrs. Albert Armstrong and an esteemed resident of Dexter for many years, passed away last Tuesday at his home in that town. He would have been 75 years of age on June 1.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Dexter Methodist Church, with Rev. Fred Moore in charge. Burial was in the Dexter Cemetery.

During his last illness which extended over many months Mr. Black was in constant attendance by his wife and Mrs. Armstrong. He was well known in this community, having spent his youth on a farm near Dexter and retiring to that place when his years of active life were ended.
