Mr. and Mrs. Harry Peer and daughter Margaret and Mr. and Mrs. Elza Cook attended the funeral of Mrs. S. A. Peer at Dexter Wednesday afternoon, Rev. McKay conducted the service at the M.E. Church. Mrs. Peer was attacked by a choking spell shortly after midnight Sunday night and died in about fifteen minutes in spite of all medical efforts. An unsuspected abscess of the throat is believed to have ruptured when she began to cough, with the sad effect mentioned.
