Jimmy Quinnett, 27, of Indianola died of heart failure Saturday at 5601 N. W. Beaver Drive. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton’s Near Highland Memory gardens funeral Home. His body will be cremated following the service with burial of the cremains at a later date.

Born in Des Moines, Mr. Quinnett lived in Germany for eight years while in the U.S. Army. He lived in Indianola one year and delivered furniture for Carousel Furniture Co.

He is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Quinnett of Erlangen, Germany; his parents, Russell and Pat of Indianola; two brothers, Russell and John, both of Indianola; his grandparents, Charles and Shirley Burkett of Johnston; a grandmother, Mary Ellen Quinnett of Thayer; and a great-grandmother, Edna Burkett of Dallas Center.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Tues 25 Mar (could be May) 1997.
