Dallas County (IA) News

ADEL -- Services for H. Lee Myers, 87, of Adel were held Sept. 1, 1982 at the Church of the Brethren in Dallas Center with burial in the Brethren Cemetery. Mr. Myers died Aug. 30.

He was born June 8, 1895 to H. E. and Nellie Myers northwest of Adel and married Addie York on Oct. 31, 1917. They lived on the farm until 1974 and then moved to Adel.

In the H. Lee Myers obituary appearing in the Sept. 9 edition of the DALLAS COUNTY NEWS, it was incorrectly reported that funeral services were held at the Church of the Brethren in Dallas Center when services were actually held at the Panther Creek Church of the Brethren near Adel.
