Judith E. Stroeber, 70, of Adel died April 27, 2011, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston from various health problems.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 30, at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel with burial at Panther Creek Cemetery west of Adel. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for future designation.

Judy was born August 24, 1940, in Perry to Lyle and Josephine Van Cleave Ramsey. She was a farm wife who worked beside her husband for many years. She collected and sold Avon for over 30 years. She also worked for the Iowa DHS for 27 years before retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Michael Adamson.

She is survived by her husband, Ed; daughters, Kathy Mack, Sue, Joanne and Linda Stroeber; sister, Donna Adamson; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many other family members.
