Charles Goering, Jr., Bartlett, Tenn.

Charles W. Goering, Jr., 67, of Bartlett, Tenn, died of congestive heart failure Oct. 31, at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. The body was cremated and graveside services will be held at a later date at Adel Cemetery in Adel.

Mr. Goering was born in Des Moines and had lived in Golden, Colo. and Germantown, Tenn., before moving to Bartlett five years ago. He was a retired sales manager with Norvatis Co. and a member of the National Rifle Association, Masons and Za-Ga-Zig Shrine in Altoona. He enjoyed traveling and reading.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma; a stepson, Ron Moore of Bakersfield, Calif.; a brother Kenneth, of Grimes; and a grandchild.
