Funeral services were held August 23 from the De Soto Methodist church for John H. Golightly, a life long resident of the DeSoto community, whose death occurred Saturday August 20.
Mr. Golightly was 66 years of age at his death. He is survived by his wife, a son, Robert Golightly of DeSoto; two daughters, Mrs. Forrest J. Fowler of Marshalltown and Mrs. Delbert Gebhart of Des Moines and 12 grandchildren.
