The venerable wife of Mr. Boone, for whom Booneville was named, and who died some time ago, died Friday of last week at her home at the ripe old age of 95 years. The funeral occurred Saturday at the chapel near John Shambaugh’s place.

Note: Buried in the Booneville Cemetery, Dallas County.
