ADEL PEOPLE CAUGHT
UNDER AUTOADEL, Ia. Oct. 1 – As a result of their car going dead on them as they were climbing a hill near Bouton and backing into a ditch, several Adel people suffered painful injuries. The car belonged to Jap Jolly, a prominent Adel resident, and was being driven by his daughter, Marie Jolly. She suffered a broken arm, Margaret Konnig was slightly injured and Opal Button received several broken ribs and injured internally. The four or five occupants of the car were pinned under the car for some time and removed only after strenuous work on the part of Italian railroad workers who were near at hand.
