Wesley Howes & Family

HOWES

Wesley Howes, his wife Mary, and two or three children (possible names of children are Mary and Frederick) & his mother, Lovisa Howes, were early residents of Crawford County, moving there from New York to Wisconsin, and finally to Iowa. Family records indicate that Wesley and children died of diphtheria in the late 1870's. Subsequently his wife Mary returned to New York. I would appreciate any help in finding information about Wesley and his family. The only record I can find is of Lovisa Howes, a widow, age 73, keeping house, in the Deloit, in the Crawford, Iowa 1880 Federal Census record.
