Mrs. Kate Gradin Peterson Services At Arthur Baptist Church 1966

Mrs. Kate Gradin Peterson, daughter of Olaf and Cristine Gradin was born in Ida County, Hayes township, 20 May 1880. She lived 86 years and 29 days. She was a life long resident of this area having lived for a number of years across from the Arthur Baptist church and later in Arthur. She was married to John Peterson. Two children, Violet who preceded her in death, and Sidney of Westside, Iowa. Her husband preceded her in death in 1948.

Funeral services were held at the Arthur Baptist church, Wednesday, 29 June 1966 with Pastor John Aiken officiating. Burial was in Hayes cemetery with bearers Donald Bergman, Arthur Palm, Walter Hammerstrom, Carl Sonichsen, Oscar Olson and Arvid Gustafson. Survivors include her son Sidney, his wife and 5 children; a brother Abraham of Cylon, Wisconsin and sister Martha Gradin of ...........
