Mrs. Elmer Eng, 65, Arthur died Feb. 2 1976 at the Horn Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 4, 1976 at the Evangelical Free Church with the Rev. Robert Lundberg officiating. Burial in the Hayes Township Cemetery was under direction of the Christensen Funeral Home in Ida Grove.

Mrs. Eng, the former Helen Fries, was born Nov. 24, 1910 in Blaine Township of Ida County and was married Aug. 20, 1931. The couple lived on a farm near Arthur all of their married life.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Delmar of Arthur and Dennis of Davenport; a daughter. Mrs. Milton (Delores) Borchers of Ida Grove; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Arvid (Agnes) Gustafson of Kiron and, Mrs. James (Margaret) Oxendale of Arthur, and three brothers, John Fries of Kiron and William and Adolph Fries, both of Ida Grove.
