Funeral services for Edith Evelyn Eng, 76 of rural Ida Grove, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the First United Methodist Church in Ida Grove.

She died suddenly on Monday, April 4, 1983 at her home in Hayes Township.

The Rev. Jack Speer will officiate, with burial in the Hayes Township Cemetery. The Christensen Funeral Home of Ida Grove is in charge of arrangements.

Edith Evelyn Anderson was born Aug. 20, 1906, at Galva. She lived in the area for the past 33 years and previous to that lived in the Galva and Aurelia areas.

She married Clarence Eng on Oct. 18, 1927, in Ida Grove. He died on Dec. 29, 1977 at home.

Mrs. Eng is survived by: one daughter, Donna Throne of Ida Grove; two sons, Bernard of Denison and Vincent of Ida Grove; four grandchildren; and one brother, Henry Anderson of Galva.
