The death of Alfred Ahlquist, a former Sioux Cityan, occurred Sunday in a Minneapolis, Minnesota hospital. His body will be brought to the Nelson-Berger funeral parlor here for the funeral and interment.

Mr. Ahlquist, who moved to Minneapolis about 13 years ago, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Hilda Ahlquist of Minneapolis; three sons, Edwin Ahlquist, 3401 Dupont street, Sioux City, Harold Ahlquist of Lawton, Iowa and Edgar Ahlquist of Worthington, Minnesota; four daughters, Mrs. Addic Anderson, of Kiron, Iowa, Mrs. George Dreesen, of West Side, Iowa, Mrs. Esther Dose, of Danbury, Iowa, and Mrs. Edith Austin, of Denver, Colorado. There are 17 grandchildren.
