George Tripp who had been sick for a long time, was taken worse last Friday morning and died Saturday afternoon. He had been at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Galland, for several weeks. Funeral services were conducted by Elder Charles Butterworth at the Galland home Monday afternoon. Mrs. Vinnie Hatch, Mrs. M. Pearsall and Misses Mildred Butterworth and Sunshine Rudd sang. He was buried by the side of his wife, who died several years ago, in the Butler Cemetery.
