Mrs. Thomas McGrath.
Denison friends of Mrs. Thos. McGrath were pained to learn of her death, which occurred at her home at Ute last Thursday, following a brief illness. Only a few days previous she had given birth to a baby.
Miss Lizzie Hopper spent the early years of her life at Charter Oak and for some time was head operator at the telephone office at that place. She was a young lady of pleasing personality and her friends were numbered by her acquaintances. She entered the Review subscription contest six years ago and won the first prize, here many friends rallying to her support.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Thos. McGrath about five years ago, shortly after he resigned his position with the Stewart Lumber company in this city. They made their home at Schleswig for a year or two where Mr. McGrath managed an an implement house, later moving to Ute, where they have resided since.
Funeral services were held at Charter Oak and interment was made at the cemetery there.
