Obituary

Word was received in Denison yesterday of the death of Mr. August Ingwersen, which occured at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Lochmiller, at Ainsworth, Neb. Mr. Ingwersen left Denison about a month ago to visit his daughter and contracted a severe attack of pneumonia.

The deceased was born Sept. 12, 1851, a Tenderu, Schleswig-Holstein, German. He was united in marriage to Miss Johannah Christiansen March 30, 1883. Six children were born to this union, five of whom with the mother are left to mourn his death, namely: John, of Denison; Mrs. Henry Evers, of Denison; Mrs. Walter Lochmiller, Ainsworth, Neb.; and Fred and Minnie, residing at home. In addition he leaves two brothers, one residing in German, and M. Ingwersen, a resident of Washington D.C. and one sister, Mrs. Andrew Andresen, of this city.

Funeral services will be held from the late home in Denison Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. Wm. Frese, pastor of the German Lutheran church, officiating, after which interment will be made in the Nissen cemetery.
