Obituary of Carl Mueller.

On Saturday morning, August 30th, occurred the death of Carl August Mueller at the Lutheran hospital at Sioux City, where he had undergone an operation for a malignant growth of the intestines.
Mr. Mueller was born at Erder, Lip-pe, Germany, Sept. 26, 1859, and came to this country when twenty-one years of age, locating in Goodrich township, Crawford county. On Feb. 25, 1885, he was united in marriage to Miss Augusta Marie Boehn, who survives hime. Five children were born to this union, two of whom passed away in infancy. Those surviving him are: Louie, who resides near Kiron; Emil, who lives at home place four miles northwest of Denison, and Rose, at home. He is survived bya brother, Henry, a prominent farmer of Otter Creek township, and Conrad, of Gates, Ore.
Mr. Mueller was a member of the W.O.W. order of this city and was also a member of the German Breuderschaft society.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 2d, from the home, under the auspices of the W.O.W. and Rev. Wetzler, of Schleswig, officiating, after which interment was made in the Nissen cemetery.
