Regina Helen Harm was born July 4, 1925, the first child of Charles R. and Rose W. Remmes Vore. She died Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the Denison Care Center in Denison, Iowa at the age of eighty-two.

Regina was born in Dow City, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed in the St. Patricks Catholic Church at Dunlap, Iowa. She attended grade school at the Dow City Community School, later moving to Dunlap where she graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1943. After graduation she worked at Brandies in Omaha, and later, attended Missouri Valley Teachers College. She taught in rural schools until 1948. On April 1, 1948, she was united in marriage to Walter Harm at Sacred Heart Catholic Rectory in Manilla, Iowa. This union was blessed with two sons, Randy and Rick.

Regina and Walter worked together on the farm raising animals and taking care of the fields. They considered it a family farm when Randy and Rick were old enough to help. She also held various jobs including Rever's Café, the St. Rose of Lima hot lunch program, in addition to being an Avon Representative for several years. Walter died in 1990 and Regina remained on the family farm. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison, where she was a very active member.

Regina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, three brothers, Chuck, John, and Bill Vore; and a step-brother, Lyle. Survivors include two sons, Randy Harm of Denison and Rick Harm and his wife, Georgia of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; two grandchildren, Brian Harm, and Tabitha Towne, both of Denison; one step-granddaughter, Angela Jones and her husband, Scott of Sioux Falls; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Kole Towne of Denison; and two step-great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ethan Jones of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; one sister-in-law, Helen Comstock of Denison; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was held 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 8, 2007 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison, Iowa. Fr. Paul Kelly served as Celebrant and Fr. Richard Remmes as Concelebrant of the mass and grave side rites held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery in Denison. Service music was provided by organist Jean Cornelius and the St. Rose of Lima Choir. Velma Pedersen served as Lector, and Grace Dahm and Kristin Ahart were Mass Servers. Those serving as pallbearers were Jason Towne, John Greder, Todd Brus, Brian Harm, Jerry Ernst, and Jeff Brus. Sunday prayer services included a Legion of Mary Rosary at 5 p.m., and a Vigil Service at 7 p.m., at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison. The family invited everyone in attendance to the Parish Center to join them in fellowship and lunch served by the Altar Society. The Huebner Funeral Home in Denison was in charge of the arrangements.
