Mildred O. "Millie" Daggett, age 80, of Council Bluffs, passed away May 9, 2007.

Mildred was born in Honey Creek, Iowa, on January 5, 1927, to John S. Mitchell and Muriel (Points) Mitchell. She moved to Council Bluffs at the age of 5. Millie had worked for Kulesh Jewelry for 23 years before urban renewal closed the store. She then started at Pottawattamie County Clerk of Court in 1973 and retired as Small Claims Deputy in 1991. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and their Women's Society and Evening Star Circle. Millie was past president of the Roosevelt School PTA and her hobbies included bowling in which she belonged to several leagues over the years. Her family was her passion and with husband, Loyd, took many family vacations together.

She is preceded in death by husband, Loyd, in 1992; brother, John M. Mitchell; sisters, Irene Forrester and Mary Jane Donahoo.

Millie is survived by her loving family, daughters, Vickie Harm and husband, Gordon, of Omaha, Neb., Annette Sales and husband, Norman Jr. "Butch" of Council Bluffs; grandchildren, Wendy Kaupa and husband, Doug, of Edwards Air Force Base Calif., Tracy Ryan and husband, Tom, of Council Bluffs, Julianne Harm of Lincoln, Neb., Matthew Harm of Omaha; great granddaughter, Alexis Kaupa; sisters, Dorothy Norton of Council Bluffs, Jackie Kohnekamp and husband, Jerry, of Charter Oak, Iowa, Carol Lyons of Georgia; brother, Joseph Mitchell and wife, Rosemary, of Calif.; many nieces and nephews; high school friend, Lois Mann; and special friend; Don Harm.

Visitation Friday 6 to 8 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church. Funeral services Saturday 9:00 a.m. also at church. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery with luncheon to follow at church. Family suggest memorials to Epworth United Methodist Church.
