William "Bill" Michael Fahndrich was born November 19, 1971, the son of James and Darlene Kasey Fahndrich. He died Tuesday, February 27, 2007 in Grand Junction, Colorado at the age of thirty-five.

Bill was born in Battle Creek, Michigan and received his education there. He attended truck driving school and began driving for various companies.

On July 24, 2004, Bill was united in marriage to Margaret VanFossen at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison, Iowa by Rev. David Sewing. The couple made their home in Dow City, Iowa, later moving to Rock Springs, Wyoming. Among his interests were playing with his Sony Playstation, grilling, traveling, sight-seeing, and going on fishing trips. He also enjoyed taking his wife, Margaret on the road with him whenever he was able. He was a loving husband, father, and brother who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was especially fond of playing with his nieces and nephews and his dog "Bear."

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father-in-law, Elvin Eubanks; his brother-in-law, David Eubanks; and one step-son, Daniel VanFossen. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two step-sons, Brian VanFossen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Dustin VanFossen of Vinton, Iowa; his parents, Jim Fahndrich and his wife, Pat of Sherwood, Michigan; and Darlene Derby and her husband, Doug of Homer, California; his mother and father-in-law, Bernice Pressley and her husband, Gene of Denison; one brother, James Fahndrich and his wife, Selene of Long Beach, California; and one sister, Tennille Walling and her husband, Paul of Sherwood, Michigan; two step-brothers, Doug Fierke and his wife, Sally; and Steve Fierke and his wife, Nancy; two step-sisters, Kathy Fierke and Joline Huerta and her husband, Mike all of Battle Creek, Michigan; two brothers-in-law, Tim Eubanks and his wife, Char of Dubuque, Iowa; and Kelly Eubanks and his wife, Sondra of Eldora, Iowa; and one sister-in-law, Angela Eubanks and her significant other, John Atkins of Rock Springs, Wyoming; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services were held 2:30 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison, Iowa. Rev. David Sewing officiated the services and grave side rites held at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Denison. Organist Jeanette Venzke provided accompaniment for the congregational hymns "The Old Rugged Cross," "Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound," and "I Know that My Redeemer Lives." Those serving as honorary pallbearers were Tim Eubanks, James Steinkuehler, and Bill Wendt. Those serving as pallbearers were Michael Eubanks, Robin Laddehoff, Kelly Eubanks, Anthony Fischer, Joey Laddehoff, and Eddie Rice. The family invited everyone in attendance to join them in fellowship and lunch served by the Ladies Aid. The Huebner Funeral Home in Denison was in charge of the arrangements.
