Timothy Martens, 19 of Deloit, died early Thursday morning after his snowmobile crashed into a tree one mile east of the town of Pence in Iron County, Wisconsin.

According to an Associated Press report, the accident happened at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday. Martens was pronounced dead at the scene.

Services

Services for Martens are pending at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison.

Survivors include his parents, Todd and Candace Martens, and his sister, Jessica, all of Denison.

Services for 19-year-old Timothy Martens of Deloit will be held 10:30 am, Monday, February 5th, 2007 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Denison. Burial will be at the Crawford Heights Memory Gardens in Denison. Timothy Martens died Thursday, February 1st, 2007 in Hurley, WI. Survivors include his parents, Todd and Candace Martens of Deloit; 1 sister, Jessica Martens of Deloit; grandparents, Connie and Terry Crawford of Denison and Carol and Robert Nielsen of Dow City; great-grandparents, Helen Neuman of Denison, Loretta Nilesen of Sioux City and Lyle Storm of Lyons, NE. Visitation will be held 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, February 4th, 2007 with a Time for Sharing Memories at 6:00 PM, at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison.
