Jeremy Evan Linn was born on June 16, 1974, the son of Gregg and Deborah Dailey Linn. He died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa at the age of 32.

Jeremy was born in Carroll, Iowa and was baptized in Christ. He received his education in the Denison Elementary School and graduated from the Summit High School in Frisco, Colorado. After completing his education he worked at a Big "O" Tires Shop in Frisco, Colorado. In 2000 he moved to Omaha, where he worked at Jensen Tire Company, subsequently moving to Carroll, Iowa in 2002 and working at Envisions as a screen printer.

On August 21, 2004, Jeremy was united in marriage to Tina Tornow. The couple made their home in Carroll, until moving to Denison in October of this past year. They were blessed with the birth of two children, Tristan and Jordyn.

He loved spending time with his family and looking for turtles with Tristan. He also enjoyed computers, board games, wrestling, movies and listening to music. He loved the time he spent visiting San Diego, California and Lake Powell, Utah. Jeremy was an Avalanche Hockey and Raiders Football Team fan.

He was supported and surrounded by his family and those who loved him, this gave him courage and strength through his thirteen week fight with his illness.

Jeremy was preceded in death by one sister, Jessica; his paternal grandfather, Junior Linn; his maternal grandfather, Hoagie Dailey; maternal-step-grandparents, LeRoy and Ima Jean Hansohn; paternal-step-grandparents, William and Bernice Launderville and his extended mom, Kathy Verducci.

Survivors include his wife, Tina; one son, Tristan and one daughter, Jordyn, all of Denison; his father, Gregg Linn and his wife, Criss of Glidden; his mother, Deb Dailey of Carroll; his step-parents, Ed and Sheila Launderville of Denison; three sisters, Jamie Schulte of Kansas City, Kansas; Kristine Linn of Cedar Falls; and Amber Linn of Omaha; his father-in-law,Craig Tornow of Charter Oak, and parents-in-law, Carla and Adam Gosch of Denison; his paternal grandmother, Bobbie Linn of Coon Rapids; maternal grandmother, Mickey Dailey of Carroll; extended siblings: James Bourne of Fort Collins, Colorado; Chad Longwedel of Lyons, Colorado; and Joe Ortega of New Jersey; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison, Iowa. Rev. Kurt Kaiser and Rev. David Sewing officiated the services and grave side rites held at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Stockholm Township, Kiron, Iowa. Organist Karen Kahl provided the organ accompaniment for the congregational hymn, "Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound," and soloist Eldon Hardekopf sang the selections, "On Eagle's Wings," and "How Great Thou Art." Those serving as pallbearers were: Chad Longwedel, Bob Bryant, Joel Linn, Michelle Longwedel, James Bourne, and Jon Linn. The family invited everyone in attendance to join them in fellowship and lunch at the Deloit Community Building catered by Hy-Vee. The Huebner Funeral Home in Denison was in charge of the arrangements.
