Donella Elizabeth Champion, age 68, of Stephens City, Va., died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at her home.

Mrs. Champion was born on February 27, 1938, in Denison, Iowa, the daughter of the late William and Anna Dethleson Rabe. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

Mrs. Champion married John F. Champion on December 20, 1958, in Denison, Iowa.

Surviving with her husband are four children, Catherine A. Leighton of Mankato, Minnesota, Cynthia C. Fauver of Charles Town, West Virginia, Joel J. Champion of Ft. Worth, Texas, and James S. Champion of Honolulu, Hawaii; nine grandchildren; and two sisters. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
