I have a photo of Catharina Kruse (my great-great grandmother), daughter of Paul Kruse and Margaretha Stoltenberg. In Clinton County histories Margaretha's surname was listed as Shombarger, but her mother's name (also buried in Center Grove or Ingwersen Cemetery was given as Anna Stoltenberg b.1770. Catharina married Carl Heinrich Hoeneke (also spelled as Hoenicke, Hoenecke, Heneke).
