I am seeking an obituary and/or probate records or any info about Edward Earl Green (E. E. Green) and/or Gertrude A. Green his wife but I do not know for sure if they died there in Clinton County, Iowa
He and his wife, Gertude A. (Cling) Green are found in the 1920 and 1930 US census of Clinton County and the State of Iowa Census for 1915 and 1925. I also found them in the Clinton City Directory in 1945 but I cannot find any other directories on-line at Ancestry.com past 1945.
E. E. Green was born in 1889 in Illinois - grew up in Denver - where he practiced architecture and went to Fort Dodge, Webster Co., Iowa where his son, Bruce Ivan Green was born in 1914 and who died in 2000 in Edgewater, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. He was interviewed by residents of Castle Terrace neighborhood in the late 1990s. He also had a sister, Betty (Elizabeth?) Green who was born in 1922 in Clinton, Iowa - who did she marry?
E. E. and Gertrude Green lived a long time in Clinton and he was architect for Curtis Brothers company which developed Castle Terrace among other neighborhoods in Clinton.
Any help would be most appreciated or referrals.
