Henry Ketelsen and wife Anna immigrated from Germany to Clinton Co., IA in 1881. Henry (Heinrich) was born August 1848 and died july 17, 1912. Anna/Annie was born May 12, 1850 and died July 12, 1922. Both are buried in Oakland Cemetery.

They arrive in America with three children: Anna born March 1876, John born August 1878 and Mary born March 13, 1881. There may have been another son, Henry, who may have died on board the ship.

After they settled in Clinton Co., the following children were born: Dora born Feb 18 1883, Willie born Dec 1884, August born Dec 1887, Elsie born July 11 1889, Rosie born Oct 25 1891, Andrew born Jan 13 1892, Julius born July 31 1895, Fred(Ferdinand) born Oct 1899.

I am hoping to make contact with descendants of this family. I am a descendant of Dora's.
