James Poole b.1943, married in N.Y.State in 1872.
This is my dilemna, when he married Louise Senecal, he listed his birthplace as Clinton, Iowa. They did go there after the marriage, three daughters were born there, they then returned to Grenadier Island, Ontario where he lived until he died. I found him in the 1880 census, in Clinton, but how would I determine if he was born there?
