Catherine Foster's Husband

My great great grandmother Catherine Foster lived in Iowa in the mid 1800s. Her sons - my great Grandfather Allen Foster and his brother Clinton were born in Clinton Iowa, The family is shown on the 1860 Census in Camanche (without the father). My great great grandmother originally came from Ohio and I believe she was married when she came to Iowa. No husband is listed on the 1860 census, however. Shortly after the census, the family moved back to Ohio and lived in Steubenville, Jefferson County. She is shown as a widow in a later census. I believe she became a widow while still in Iowa. I am trying to track down her husband. I assume his last name was Foster and he was born in Pennsylvania. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
