Low Moor - Funeral services for Miss Mae Barker, 67, who died yesterday in her home in Low Moor, will be held at 2:30 Friday in the Low Moor Methodist church, preceded by a prayer service at 1:30 p.m. in Bragioner-Fay chapel, Clinton where the body reposes. The Rev. Robert V. Gildner, Low Moor Methodist minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Union cemetery.
Miss Barker was born in Low Moor, the daughter of Joseph and Harriet Dawson Barker, June 5, 1881. She spent her entire life here and was educated in the Low Moor schools. She was a lifetime member of the Low Moor Methodist church an active worker in the W.S.C.S. She was communion steward of the church and for over 40 years had taught in the Sunday school. She was also a member of the Low Moor Rebekah lodge.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Carrie Howson, with whom she lived, three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents.
