CAMANCHE — Carol Ann Edens, 59, of Camanche, died Friday at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport.

Services will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Camanche, at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Visitation will be at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be her sons-in-law, Steve Nielsen, Arlyn Schroeder, Joseph Hardison, Scott Sperry Martin Lanhart and Aaron Melchiori.

She was born Nov. 15, 1946, in West Point, Neb., to Robert and Blondina Fork Boyer. She married Richard Edens on March 19, 1967, in DeWitt.

She was a homemaker and childcare provider in Camanche for more than 13 years.

Survivors include her husband; daughters, Mrs. Theresa M. (Steve) Nielsen of Camanche, Mrs. Gerry A. (Joseph) Hardison of Camanche, Mrs. Sherry J. (Scott) Sperry of Camanche, Mrs. Leslie L. (Arlyn) Schroeder of Andover, Mrs. Beth A. (Martin) Lanhart of Rota, Spain; Jenny L. Edens of Camanche, Mrs. Susan K. (Aaron) Melchiori of Camanche and Katie J. Edens of Camanche; sons, Anthony R. (Tonia) Edens of Camanche, Frank H. Edens of Camanche, Robert J. (Jennifer) Edens of Camanche, Lenny (LaRae) Edens of Ankeny, Boyer A. Edens of Camanche and Jordan A. Edens of Camanche; 31 grandchildren; one brother, Bernard “Bud” (Nancy) Boyer of Overland park, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary (Kent) Morgan of St. Louis and Mrs. Leslie (Gene) Bending of Highland, Calif.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Camanche.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
