CLINTON — Elaine Marie Larsen, 75, of Clinton and formerly of Camanche, died Tuesday at Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton.

Funeral services will be at Elvira Zion Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Visitation will at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Elvira Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Meyermann, Rick Wing, Andrew and Casey Feagins, Curtis Claeys and Bill Ryan.

She was born Nov. 12, 1930, in Clinton to Ed Marvin and Elsa M. Hippler Horn. She married Walter A. Larsen on Aug. 14, 1955, in Elvira; he died in 2000.

She graduated from Elvira schools.

She was a lifetime member of Elvira Zion Lutheran Church, past Sunday school teacher and church secretary. She also was a member of the Dorcus Circle at the church.

She was employed with Pillsbury, Burpee Seed Co., A.C. Nielsen, P.F.C., and worked for several years at the Clinton County Treasurer’s Office before retiring.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Darla (Alan) Feagins of Muscatine; one son, David Larsen of Camanche; three grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Ruth Nielsen of Camanche; and one brother-in-law, Lawrence Studemann of DeWitt.

Memorials may be made to Elvira Zion Lutheran Church or to a favorite charity.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, parents and one sister.
