CORALVILLE — Howard A. Haskin, 50, of Coralville, died Saturday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Prince of Peace Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Clinton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Iowa City, at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Tom Espey, Jim Cavanagh, Barry Hamdorf, Steve Burlingame, Bob Spain, Ted Lewis and Terry Dutton.

He was born Feb. 8, 1955, in Oregon to Howard and Joan Haskin. He married Brenda Sharp on Dec. 30, 1994, in Palm Springs, Calif.

He graduated from Clinton High School in 1973. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s degree from the University of Iowa.

He was employed as an account manager with Bank of the West, Walnut Creek, Calif. He was formerly employed with the John Deere Credit, Moline, Ill.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Elizabeth, at home; his mother, Joan of Clinton; one sister, Mrs. Sue (Mike) Ashton of Marshalltown; one sister-in-law, Patricia Haskin of Bonita Springs, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to his daughter’s college fund.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
