Beulah Drury

CLINTON — Beulah C. Drury, 91, of Clinton, died Saturday at Mercy South Hospital.

Visitation will be today at Lemke Funeral Homes, North Chapel, 2304 N. Second St., from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lyons United Methodist Church, Clinton, with the Rev. Doresa Collogan, pastor of Lyons United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Miles Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Richard, Robert, Arlo and Jim Drury, and Wendell and Eric Clausen.

She was born June 28, 1914, to Henry and Emma Leckband Miller in Green Island. She married Clifton Drury on Jan. 20, 1932, in Dixon, Ill.

She worked as a nurse’s aide at Jane Lamb Hospital and was a homemaker.

She was a member of Lyons United Methodist Church. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

Survivors include two daughters, Darleen Clausen of Clinton and Nathalie Ewers of Galena, Ill.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Lyons United Methodist Church or the family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother.

Death Date: Dec. 10, 2005
